🎲 KantCon’s Harvesters Food Drive Returns for 2025 — and We Need You More Than Ever 🥫
Did you know that 1 in 4 local families with children struggle with food insecurity? Many of these families fall through the cracks — earning too much to qualify for assistance, yet not enough to meet their basic needs. Even worse, many essential items like soap, shampoo, and toilet paper aren’t covered by government aid at all.
That’s where Harvesters — and you — come in.
Right now, Harvesters is facing a critical food shortage. Food costs have soared 24% in just five years. Federal food programs have been slashed by 30%. That’s millions of pounds of food no longer available for distribution — and local food insecurity has climbed to 12.3%, the highest it’s been in nearly a decade.
You can help close that hunger gap.
Bring a donation to KantCon and you’ll receive a prize ticket for each item you contribute — but more importantly, you’ll be making a real, local impact.
📦 Most-needed items include:
Personal hygiene products (soap, deodorant, shampoo, toilet paper)
Canned soup (chicken, tomato, or vegetable)
Canned chicken, tuna, or salmon (in water)
Brown rice and whole grain pasta
Canned fruits and vegetables
✨ Every item helps — and every item matters.
And if you want to do even more, consider volunteering at KantCon. For every 4-hour shift you work, you'll receive a free day badge to enjoy the con, an invite to our exclusive volunteer after-party, and the satisfaction of knowing you helped bring this amazing event to life.
KantCon runs on community — and that includes you.
