Friends of KantCon

As our own convention draws ever closer this summer, we wanted to highlight some of our local friends that help make KantCon possible and their upcoming events.

Midwest GameFest is an annual four-day tabletop hobby game convention held each Spring and Fall in the Kansas City area hosted by the Role-Players Guild of Kansas City (RPGKC). Meeple-a-thon KC is a once a year, family friendly, board game extravaganza. Each year they partner with an affiliated 501(c)(3) charity to raise funds for causes that do the most good in Kansas City, with a focus on providing necessities for life and living. Their event for 2023 runs November 17-19 and will be held in person at the Hy-Vee Arena in downtown Kansas City. You can learn more and register here: https://meepleathon.com/

TsunamiCon is Wichita's premiere tabletop gaming convention, presenting a variety of gaming opportunities and related geekery. This year their convention is October 20th through the 22nd. You can learn more and register here: https://www.tsunamicon.org/

Planet ComiCon Kansas City is the largest comic book and pop culture convention in this entire region of the Midwest. Within its halls you’ll also find the tabletop gaming room; over 10,000 square feet consisting of over 200 of the most popular board and card games on the market!
