Harvesters Drive at KantCon 2022
KantCon is pleased to announce that we will be collecting food for Harvester’s at this year’s convention!
If you are not familiar, Harvester’s is a charity that provides food and related household products to more than 760 nonprofit agencies including emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others. Please consider bringing dried foods or toiletry products to the convention to help support our drive. We will have collection bins available for donations.
If you want to donate in advance, you can also virtually contribute using the link below. This is a really great option as you can peruse the virtual aisles yourself, selecting which goods you would like to donate OR you can make a cash donation to the cause! Every $1 donated helps Harvesters provide up to 3 meals for hungry families, children and seniors in our community. We hope you will join us in making a difference for many!
If you’re thinking about bringing items to the convention, here are Harvester’s most requested items:
Canned vegetables (low Sodium)
Canned fruits in 100% juice
Dried fruit (no added sugar preferred)
Canned chicken, tuna, salmon (packed in water)
Brown rice
Whole grain pasta
Dried beans or canned low sodium beans
Peanut, almond, or sun butter
Canned soup (chicken, tomato, or vegetable)
Cereal – hot and cold (whole grain, low sugar preferred)
Soap
Toilet Paper
Deodorant
Shampoo
